The music of your life – if it were a movie

I tried this meme that is floating around.  It’s pretty funny.

Here’s how it works:

1.  Open your music library (iTunes, iPod, Media Player, etc.)

2.  Put it on shuffle.

3.  Play it

4.  For each life event listed below, type the song that’s playing (when you get to the next event on the list, hit next, and type the next song.)

5.  No cheating.

Opening Credits:  Raised on the Radio – Ravyns

Waking Up:     Invisible – Clay Aiken

First Day of School:   Don’t be Cruel – Elvis Presley

Falling in Love:  Tattoo – The Who

Getting it on:  Carol – The Rolling Stones

Fight Song:  All I Really Want To Do – The Byrds

Breaking Up:  Over the Rainbow – Judy Garland

Prom:  Twistin’ the Night Away – Sam Cooke

Life:  Girl From the North Country – Bob Dylan

Mental Breakdown:  The Rhythm is Gonna Get You – Gloria Estafan

Driving:    A Hazy Shade of Winter – Simon & Garfunkel

Flashback:  The Cry of Eugene – The Nice

Wedding:  Everybody Needs Somebody to Love – Soloman Burke

Birth of child:  You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away – The Beatles

Final Battle:  Hushabye – The Mystics

Death Scene:  Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way – Delaney & Bonnie

Funeral Song: Where Do Broken Hearts Go – Whitney Houston

  1. Awww, poor Little Michele on her first day of school kicking and screaming when they pull her from her mamma. LOL.

  2. I was amazed at how these random song selections matched so funnily.

My favorite – Mental Breakdown – The Rythym is Gonna Get You.

[I must confess – this is husband’s iPod…I do not have one]
